  • 1990: Beginnings and Growth

    Global Distributors Inc. was founded in 1990 with the goal of distributing scrapbooks, trading cards, and stamps to local pharmacies and schools. Since our early years, we have focused on connecting communities and providing quality products.

  • 1994: Expansion to the entire island

    In the mid-90s, we managed to expand our coverage to cover the entire island of Puerto Rico , reaching more customers and consolidating our presence in the wholesale distribution market.

  • 2000: Portfolio Diversification

    In the 2000s, we diversified our product portfolio, adding collectible card games and opening six kiosks in prominent shopping malls on the island, providing access to more products.

  • 2007: Corporate Structure

    In 2007 , we adopted a formal corporate structure , which allowed us to operate more efficiently and continue our expansion throughout the island of Puerto Rico.

  • 2010: Collaboration with Scholastics

    We began a successful collaboration with Scholastics , bringing book fairs to elementary schools throughout Puerto Rico. This allowed us to expand our focus on early childhood education and literacy.

  • 2020: Innovation and New Markets

    Today, we continue to innovate with new products and markets, such as pet products and gas station services , while always maintaining our mission of offering quality and service .
